Talia E. Shandling is an associate in the Los Angeles office of Klinedinst PC. Her practice focuses on professional liability defense, especially in the area of legal malpractice. In addition to professional liability, her practice encompasses a wide range of cases including business and contractual disputes, premises liability, and product liability cases. Ms. Shandling has a wide range of experience encompassing all facets of litigation including motion work, depositions, settlement discussions, and all phases of discovery. She has also drafted and won demurrers, motions to strike, anti-SLAPP motions, summary judgment motions and an array of key discovery motions. Ms. Shandling received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School. A member of the Dean's List from 2006-2008, Ms. Shandling also received First Honors in Ethical Lawyering and International Law. While in law school, Ms. Shandling served as a liaison between Loyola law students and non-profit organizations in the Los Angeles community and was a member of the International and Comparative Law Review as a Research Editor. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2004 with a Bachelors of Arts in Communications, and also received the honor of Phi Beta Kappa in 2004.
