Robert J. Hatem is an attorney in the Los Angeles office of Klinedinst PC. Prior to joining Klinedinst, he worked for a civil litigation firm in San Diego, California. Mr. Hatem handles various high stakes matters, including products liability, class actions, environmental, construction and housing discrimination in both state and federal courts. Mr. Hatem has achieved notable success in numerous large and complex ‘bet the company’ matters. Recently Mr. Hatem was able to resolve a class action suit, with potential damages in excess of $700 million, for significantly less than $1 million. Mr. Hatem received his Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1996. While attending McGeorge, he was honored in the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition and was also awarded Dean's List Honors. Robert was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity, and interned at Region 21 of the National Labor Relations Board. Robert obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University, graduating in 1993 with Dean's List Honors. During college, Robert interned with the San Diego District Attorney's office.
