Associate
Negin A. Demehry joined the Klinedinst team in 2006. As an associate in the firm's San Diego office, Ms. Demehry has assisted in and tried to verdict cases involving personal injury, business fraud, and construction defect matters. In addition, she has experience mediating complex cases to resolution.
Ms. Demehry received her Juris Doctorate in 2005 from the George Mason University School of Law. While in law school, she gained tremendous legal experience through internships with the United States Department of State, the Assistant State Attorney’s Office for the Circuit Court of Baltimore City, and the Trial Office of the United States Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Ms. Demehry also served as an Advocate for her law school's legal clinic, where she represented petitioners pro bono in mental commitment hearings.
Ms. Demehry was active in her law school community. She was President of the International Legal Fraternity of Phi Delta, an organization that promotes a higher standard of professional ethics. Prior to graduation, Ms. Demehry was recognized for her work in promoting legal ethics when she received the Phi Delta Phi Balfour Scholarship. She served as Vice-President of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and was an active member of the Trial Advocacy Association. She also was an active member of the Association for Public Interest Law, where she raised money for students working in unpaid public interest law positions.
A native of the D.C. Metropolitan Region, Ms. Demehry received her B.S. with High Distinction in Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems from George Mason University in 2001. After receiving her Bachelor's degree, she worked as a Software Engineer prior to returning to George Mason to pursue her legal career.
