Leah A. Plaskin joined Klinedinst’s San Diego team as an associate in 2006. Before joining Klinedinst, Ms. Plaskin practiced general civil litigation, with an emphasis in public entity and insurance defense. She has been practicing law in California since 2003. Ms. Plaskin received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2003, graduating cum laude. During law school, she received the CALI award for top grades in torts, judicial lawmaking, child rights and remedies, and family law. In addition, she was a member and comment editor for the San Diego International Law Journal, and served as an academic support leader for torts. Ms. Plaskin obtained her undergraduate
degree cum laude from the University of California at Los Angeles,
