Jason W. Schaff is an associate in the firm’s Sacramento law office where he primarily practices in the field of professional liability, in the defense of attorneys, accountants, brokers, and agents. Mr. Schaff represents his clients through all phases of litigation, and his aggressive motion work has lead to multiple published opinions in both state and federal courts. Jason’s experience reflects his broad and sophisticated client base, including the litigation of ERISA fiduciary liability, mergers and acquisitions, and complex real estate transactions. In addition to his work defending professionals, Mr. Schaff also handles high-exposure commercial construction defect cases and general liability claims. As a lifelong Sacramento resident, Jason remains active in the Sacramento legal community. He works as an adjunct professor in Pacific McGeorge’s nationally ranked trial advocacy department and serves as the Vice President of Programs for the Sacramento Barristers’ Club - the young lawyer division of the Sacramento Bar Association. While in law school, Jason served as Chief Articles Editor for the Pacific McGeorge Global Business and Development Law Journal, research assistant to Professor Ruth Jones, and as a judicial extern to the Honorable William B. Shubb for the United States District Court, Eastern District of California.
