Shareholder and Chief Financial Officer
Heather L. Rosing has extensive experience representing lawyers, accountants, psychologists, and other professionals in professional liability matters. In addition, Ms. Rosing provides non-litigation services in the areas of ethics and risk management, and serves as an expert witness on such issues. She also practices generally in the area of business litigation.
Ms. Rosing is the chair of Klinedinst's Professional Liability Group, and the recipient of Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating. Heather is also a frequent speaker and writer in the area of professional liability, ethics, and risk management. She has spoken at the local, state and national level.
At Klinedinst PC, she served as General Counsel from 2005-2007, and has served as Chief Financial Officer of the firm since 2006.
Heather is very active in the community. She is the President of the San Diego County Bar Association San
Diego County Bar Association (SDCBA) in 2008, after having served on the board of directors for four years, and as the co-chair of the Legal Ethics Committee in 2006. The SDCBA is an 11,000 member organization. Heather also previously served on the board of directors of the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, and co-chaired the organization's first ever LAF-Off in 2007. She is also active in Lawyers Club of San Diego, having served as the golf tournament chairperson and newsletter editor. In recent years, Heather also served as the president of the Northwestern Alumni Club of San Diego, a board member of the Northwestern Law School Fund Board and Law School Alumni Board, a board member of the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy, a board member of the Japan Society of San Diego & Tijuana, and a team leader for the San Diego Rock-N-Roll Marathon. Heather also is an member of many professional and law-related organizations, including the Professional Liability Underwriting Society, the San Diego Psychological
Association, the Louis M. Welsh American Inns of Court, the Women's Insolvency Network, and the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum.
Born in Chicago, Heather attended the University
of Illinois and Northwestern
University School of Law, where she served as president of the Student Bar Association. She has been licensed to practice law in California since 1996, and in Illinois since 1997.
