David M. Majchrzak is a seasoned civil litigator with significant motion, trial and appellate experience. Mr. Majchrzak assists corporate entities and successful individuals resolve complex disputes, and represents professionals in malpractice claims. Mr. Majchrzak has achieved tremendous success for clients over the years. He has valuable experience in all phases of litigation, from motions and trials, to appellate work and mediation. His practice focuses on professional liability defense, especially in the area of legal malpractice. In addition to professional liability, his practice encompasses a wide range of cases, including business and contractual disputes, construction defect, employment, intellectual property, Directors and Officers (D&O) liability, toxic tort, and products liability. He has also handled probate and family law disputes for high net worth individuals. A native of Western New York, Mr. Majchrzak relocated to California to attend the University of Southern California. After graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration, he managed several small businesses before attending Thomas Jefferson School of Law. During law school, he worked as a judicial clerk for the Hon. J. Richard Haden in San Diego Superior Court. He also worked as a legal extern for the United States Attorney in the San Diego office's Civil Division. Before graduating summa cum laude in 2002, Mr. Majchrzak served as managing editor of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review, had two of his student notes published (including one now cited by Witkins), served as the Academic Chair of the Student Bar Association, and twice received national honors from West Publishing for his academic achievements. Mr. Majchrzak is active within the local community, having served on the San Diego County Bar Association's Council of Delegates from 2007-2008. In addition, he is active within the American Inns of Court, William L. Todd, Jr. Chapter. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Kiwanis Club of Poway.
