David N. Bregman is an experienced litigator and trial attorney, whose primary focus has centered on the resolution of complicated business and construction-related disputes. A shareholder in the firm’s San Diego office, Mr. Bregman has tried to verdict a number of cases involving personal injury, business fraud, and construction defect matters. In addition, he has arbitrated over 50 matters, and has extensive experience mediating complex cases to resolution. Mr. Bregman represents individuals, contractors, corporate clients and insurers in a wide array of complex litigation and business transactional matters, including contractual disputes, contract negotiation, corporate formality, real estate, mechanics lien actions, and matters involving allegations of bad faith. He also has significant experience defending developers, general contractors, design professionals, and subcontractors in complex construction litigation and mold/indoor air quality lawsuits. He has also successfully handled subrogation matters, construction materials claims, and complex indemnity matters. Mr. Bregman is highly-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and is well-respected by his peers in the legal community for his ability to quickly analyze the complexities of a particular matter, and to make appropriate recommendations in order to quickly, efficiently, and economically resolve an issue. Mr. Bregman was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and attended the University of San Diego School of Law. He has been licensed to practice law in California since 1990. Mr. Bregman came to Klinedinst PC in August of 2001, and has been a shareholder since 2006.
