New Federal Minimum Wage Is Now In Effect

In late May, President Bush signed a law providing for various increases in the federal minimum wage. The minimum wage increased to $5.85 on July 24, 2007. One year later, it will increase to $6.55 per hour. And two years after that, it will increase to $7.25. If you have not already done so, be sure to put up a poster or other written notice to employees of the new federal minimum wage.
