July 16, 2010 Sacramento Associate Helps Provide Grants to Local Non-Profit Organizations SACRAMENTO - Klinedinst associate Stephen Duvernay was recently featured in the July, 2010 issue of Sacramento Lawyer magazine for his involvement with the Sacramento Law Foundation. Mr. Duvernay serves on the Board of Directors of the Sacramento Law Foundation, a non-profit corporation supporting programs that improve the administration of justice, enhance public confidence in the legal profession, and cultivate understanding of and respect for the rule of law. The Foundation recently awarded over $15,000 in grants to local Sacramento organizations. The mission of these grants is to improve access to justice in, and contributing to the integrity of, the legal profession. Sacramento Lawyer featured Mr. Duvernay as he presented one of these grants to Rio Americano High School CIVITAS Academy to help fund a field trip to the capitol. Thanks in part to the grant, students will have the opportunity to advocate policy proposals to California's elected officials.
