July 10, 2009 San Diego Daily Transcript Names Heather Rosing and Kurt Campbell Top Attorneys for 2009 SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Daily Transcript has just named Klinedinst shareholders Heather L. Rosing and Kurt U. Campbell to Top Attorneys for 2009. Ms. Rosing was named Top Attorney in the Transcript's Insurance category, while Mr. Campbell was honored for his work in Real Estate/Construction Litigation. "The Top Attorneys recognition is a tremendous award," said John D. Klinedinst, CEO of Klinedinst PC and a receipient of the Transcript's Top Attorney award in 2008. "Because the entire voting process is driven by the nominations of our peers, the Top Attorney award is truly an incredible honor," Klinedinst said. The peer voting for Top Attorneys began in March, 2009 when the San Diego Daily Transcript sent invitations to over 6,000 local attorneys. The Transcript received over 900 nominations in a variety of categories, including Corporate Litigation, Insurance, Transactional, Labor/Employment, and Real Estate & Construction. Attorneys could not nominate themselves, and nominations were assigned point values based on the source of the nomination. The top 25 attorneys receiving the highest points were recognized as semi-finalists, who were then eligible to vote for 10 nominees in each category. The Top Attorneys were the attorneys from each practice group receiving the most votes. "Heather and Kurt are truly 'go-to' people within their respective fields," added Klinedinst. "Each has made significant contributions to the legal community, whether in professional liability, real estate, or construction.
