Rambarran is once again teaming up with the Intellectual Property section of the Sacramento County Bar Association to help teach about the legal challenges businesses face on the Internet. During uncertain economic times, it's crucial that businesses protect and preserve their intellectual property from being misused on the web. "This subject continues to catch many businesses and web developers by surprise," noted Mr. Rambarran, who has worked with the SCBA to host previous events on Intellectual Property issues. "The Internet is making it easier for many businesses to promote themselves in the virtual world. However, businesses are still bound by the laws of the real world. Through this very special event, we hope to educate and help companies understand their rights, and what pitfalls to avoid while promoting themselves online." The event will take place on January 13, 2009 at the California Railroad Museum in Old Sacramento (111 I Street, Sacramento, CA 95814).
